Where a takedown request is valid, we remove the material promptly and update the relevant article or page with a correction note. Where a request is disputed, we may seek independent legal advice and will keep both parties informed of progress. We do not tolerate bad-faith or abusive takedown claims and reserve the right to seek costs against claimants who make false representations. Our approach is transparent, fair and grounded in our editorial mission of trustworthy local journalism. We also respect the rights of content creators and expect the same in return from those who use our content.
